The UCO College of Liberal Arts honors students for outstanding academic achievement at its 2023 student honors and award ceremony on April 19, 2024 at the College of Liberal arts building lecture hall room LAS L01. This evening’s celebration invites us to reflect on the extraordinary accomplishments of our Liberal Arts students and on the skills and the knowledge that a Liberal Arts education imparts.
The College of Liberal Arts equips students to be productive, creative, ethical, and engaged citizens and leaders who understand the past, participate actively in the present, and help to build a better future for themselves and for our communities. The students whom we honor this evening have achieved – and maintained – the highest levels of success in their academic work, their co-curricular engagement, and their professional development. They are our Liberal Arts stars, and we could not be prouder of what they have done and continue to do.
