Central Professional Media Students Win Oklahoma Association of Broadcaster Awards

The Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association (OBEA) honored Central Professional Media students at the Oklahoma Association of Broadcaster’s (OAB) annual conference at the River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa on March 30, 2023. The honors include 24 awards for student-produced audio and video/new media projects and two OAB scholarships.
Projects were completed under the supervision of Dr. David Nelson, Dr. Desiree Hill, Milos Ajdinovic, MFA, and Mark Scott, MFA.
First place finishers included the following students: Kevin Blair (Radio News), Adam Thomas (Audio Entertainment/Talk), Majia Cottrell (Radio Personality), Jackson Rowbottom and Bradie Gray (Audio Sports Magazine/Talk), Logan Gassett (Audio Promo), the UCentral News Team (Interactive Media), Ben Anderson and Trey Guzman (News Directing), and Kaleb Gonzales (Documentary Short & Documentary Long),
OAB will also award scholarships to UCentral ProMedia majors Bradie Gray and Natalie Bailey.
