Policy Debate

UCO debate is a nationally competitive debate team focusing on competition at the National Debate Tournament (NDT) and Cross Examination Debate Association (CEDA) style tournaments. Debate is open to all UCO students regardless of previous experience. UCO students can compete in a variety of debate formats including policy, Lincoln Douglas, Public Forum, and Parliamentary Debate.

  • First Round At Large Bid to the NDT: 2018
  • NDT Octafinalists: 2017, 2018
  • CEDA National Champions: 1990
  • Madison Cup Finalists 2015, 2016, 2017
