Employee Relations conducts a review of current UCO policies and updates as necessary in partnership with those who manage the policy. In October 2022, the following policy changes have been made:

The UCO Cares policy was revised for the following reasons:

  • Added clarification on how the financial assistance awarded is decided.
  • Included moving and other related expenses due to domestic violence under Personal/Medical emergency.
  • Clarified the process of how to apply.

Overcoming Homesickness While Studying Abroad

Hello everyone! I am Ambigesh Somasundaram, a Malaysian student at the University of Central Oklahoma. I am a Psychology major. I am glad I share some ways to overcome homesickness that has helped me so far. Being away from home and our loved ones can be hard, but great memories are always created when we do it right.
