I am a first-generation college student with my undergraduate degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Oklahoma State University.

UCO Screening Committee Training

In addition to our online module, UCO Talent Acquisition will now be hosting facilitator-led Screening Committee Training sessions once per month. There will be both virtual and in-person options.

Training Overview

This training is a requirement for individuals serving on a UCO search committee and will cover:

  • Determining your hiring timeline
  • Forming a screening committee
  • Fairly reviewing candidate applications
  • Creating a positive candidate experience
  • Drafting appropriate interview materials
  • Applying best interview practices
  • Avoiding prohibited and illegal hiring practices
  • Performing reference checks
  • Navigating salary negotiations
  • Addressing application deficits
  • Discovering resources available to you

2024 Hydration Challenge

Drinking water is one of the easiest ways to ensure your body is healthy and happy. Drinking more water can lead to increased energy and help your body and brain function optimally. That’s why we are challenging faculty and staff to drink at least eight cups of water a day from June 16 – July 27.

Saddle Up Supervisor Orientation Now In-Person
