UCO Homecoming 2024

The UCO Homecoming Activities Board (HAB) would like to thank everyone for celebrating the University of Central Oklahoma’s 107th Homecoming. The support, energy, creativity and spirit of faculty, staff, students and the community is what made this journey on the “Highway to Homecoming” an unforgettable ride.

Thank you to all the students who joined us for one of the 22 events hosted throughout the week and to the student organizations who competed in Homecoming this year!

Organizations who participate in the various competitions throughout homecoming week not only competed for first, second, or third for that specific competition, but competed for the coveted Broncho Cup. Organizations were split into two categories, small and large. Congratulations  to our Broncho Cup winners!

The small Broncho Cup winner was Sigma Phi Lambda Sorority! Sigma Tau Gamma took second place and the Student Ambassadors earned third place.

The large Broncho Cup winner was Leaders of Tomorrow! President’s Leadership Council took second place and Pi Kappa Alpha earned third place.

A special shoutout to our Royal Bronchos, James Brison, representing Pi Kappa Alpha, and Kathryn Plunkett, representing Leaders of Tomorrow. These outstanding individuals went through a rigorous application and interview process, earning the admiration and votes of their peers.

We want to extend a huge thank you to all the offices that participated in this year’s Annual Homecoming Office Decorating Contest! Your creativity, enthusiasm, and team spirit made this year’s competition truly spectacular. It was a joy to see each office transform their spaces into vibrant, festive displays of Broncho pride. We are so impressed by the dedication and effort put forth by each team.

A special congratulations goes out to the top six offices, whose innovative designs truly stood out: Academic Advising, Events Management, Accountability and Conflict Resolution, Office of Information Technology, Admissions and Financial Aid.

Each of these offices brought their A-game, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have had such an amazing showcase of talent and school pride.

We hope faculty and staff were able to join us at the annual Bronze and Blueberry Breakfast. A big congratulations to Catina Johnson and Marcus Titterington, the 2024 Faculty/Staff Royal Bronchos! Your dedication and spirit embody the true essence of the UCO community, and we are so proud to recognize you as our Faculty/Staff Royal Bronchos this year.

We also want to thank all the offices that participated in Big Pink Volleyball. Your support of this event helps bring our campus together in such a meaningful way, and we are so grateful to everyone who got involved! We look forward to hosting another Big Pink Volleyball tournament next year during Homecoming 2025.

A heartfelt thank you to all the faculty and staff who served as judges for our various events. Your time and expertise made Homecoming even more special. A special shoutout to UCO First Lady Monica Lamb, Aubrey Fraizer, Claire Painter, Nicole Doherty, Courtney Noisette, Aundrea Jackson, Taylor Bradberry, Brittinee Nessa, Erin Logan, Brenda DuVerney-Chapell, LaDonna Atkins, David Ball, Kelanie Robertson and Chloe Freeman—thank you for your hard work and dedication!

And finally, a huge thank you to our campus partners for their incredible support. We could not have made Homecoming such a success without the President’s Office, Chartwells Catering, Events Management, Risk and Safety, Alumni Association, Police Department, Facilities, Athletics, University Communications, Photographic Services, and Transportation and Parking Services. Your collaboration made every moment of Homecoming possible.
