Hello students! Are you interested in a pre-med/pre-health career? If you are then you need to meet with Dr. Bentley! She is the Health Professions Program advisor that will help get you ready to apply to a medical school or career of choice. If you’re interested in Medicine (MD/DO), PA, Dentistry, Dental Hygiene, Optometry, Podiatry, Chiropractic medicine, Pharmacy, Veterinary medicine, Physical therapy, Occupational therapy, Radiography, Sonography, Nuclear medicine, Radiation Therapy, Medical Lab Science, Dietetics & Nutrition, & Biomedical research then send an email to prehealthadvising@uco.edu to get scheduled to meet with her! She will help you prep for entrance exams (if that’s required), build your med school application, and she also has contacts for shadowing/volunteering to get you hands on experience. The Academic Advisors make sure that you’re completing your chosen degree as required by UCO.
